The Frisco Pet Nanny
"Where Pets are Family"

Hello my name is Diana Walker, aka, "the Frisco
Pet Nanny." I have lived in Frisco since 1995. Until the birth of my
daughter in 2000, I worked with doctors in the area as a certified
medical assistant. I started an errand service, with pet sitting as
part of the services that I provided. My business over a couple of
years morphed into basically pet sitting, and home care. The Frisco Pet
Nanny emerged with a unique style of hands-on care for your pets, and
your home.
I grew up in the mountains of Colorado with
horses, dogs, cats, goats, rabbits etc. I have lived around, and cared
for animals most of life. Most of these animals became a part of our
family; they were loved and cared for. I have helped during births,
illness, and even have sat beside them as they passed on. I understand
how much a pet can become a part of your life. Being the Frisco Pet
Nanny is very natural for me because of my love for animals.
I am insured and bonded, a member of Pet
Sitters
International, and a member of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.
Feel free to contact any of these organizations or contact me for
additional references.
Our veterinarian since moving to Frisco in 1995
has been Dr. Kevin Marcum. He has two offices in Frisco. For more
information on Dr. Marcum, office hours, and how to get there, visit
his website here.
Call me anytime while you are away. My cell phone
number is 469-569-8508. Leave a message if need be, and I will call you
back as soon as possible. I want your trip to be stress free!
Thank you for choosing The Frisco Pet Nanny!

My Pets

Mistletoe
|
Mistletoe is our rat
terrier, guard and attack dog. She was adopted from the Carrollton
Humane Society when she was about 6 months old, and has been a part of
our family for 13 years. She loves to go for walks, play, and bark at
airplanes that fly over the house. |

Ally (aka "Crazy Ally")
|
This is Ally, the "crazy aunt" of the
family. We don't know a whole lot about her history, but she seems to
have been beaten or abused at some point. She was headed for the pound,
so we took her in. She has come a long way in the last year - she is
very loyal and protective of her family and her turf, and very sweet.
However, she's also just a wee bit eccentric, hence her nickname.

Abby
|
The newest member of the pack
is Abby. She is a chihuahua of
unknown origin, who belonged to my son's girlfriend. We inheirited her
when they moved into an apartment that did not allow pets. Abby loves
to be around women, but around men she can be shy and timid. She's also
the instigator of mayhem and destruction! She is constantly stirring up
trouble! |

Weiner (1992 - 2005)
|
In 2005 we lost our cat, Weiner, to
feline cancer. He was a member of our family for over 12 years. Weiner
loved to eat hot dogs when he was a kitten. which is how he got his
name. He'll always be in our hearts. My family would like to thank Dr.
Jason Whitworth and the staff at Animal Hospital of Frisco for their
caring and compassion, and for taking such good care of Weiner.
Good bye, friend. We miss you.
